Thank you for coming to my homepage!
“Life
grants nothing to us mortals without hard work.”
Quintus Horatius Flaccus - 65
B.C.
I hope that the information provided in this document will help you decide my suitability for employment. I have been fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to be employed in areas where all my skills have been challenged. This experience has helped me develop a strong sense of work ethic, pride in any work completed, and the ability to tackle any assignment as a challenge.
I have developed superior leadership, teamwork, negotiation, issues management, problem solving and interpersonal/relationship building skills and am capable of leading an integrated team and integrated program consistently using sound and tactful judgement.
As a member of the Canadian Forces, I have worked a variety of different positions where my leadership, management and directing skills have been tested and refined.
Currently, I am responsible for the Recruiting Cell of the Second Battalion, The Irish Regiment of Canada. This cell has numerous responsibilities including the attraction, recruiting selection, testing and training of new applicants.
My leadership experience has included a variety of tasks where I have led groups of less than10 to over 180 people in everything from day-to-day jobs and administration to high speed, high action tactical assaults and field maneuvers. I have been chosen by my peers and by my superiors to lead, motivate and manage groups on numerous occasions.
I have a proven ability to effectively manage staff, lead change, think forwardly with decisive insight, achieve desired results, develop, manage and execute plans and projects with the objective of delivering programs and providing quality services.
I have excellent oral and written communication skills. Since 1993, I have been teaching young people skill and theory classes with the Canadian Forces. Teaching and presentations has always been one of my strengths, and I feel comfortable in front of large groups.
I hope that this information is useful to you in making your decision. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
Sincerely,
Dave DeLoye
